Pachagazine: Let’s start with your names, what’s your Stage name?
Saint Zoolu: My real names are Kelvin Shem but my stage name is Saint Zoolu
Pachagazine: Where did you grew up from?
Saint Zoolu: Am based in Nakuru and that where I’ve grew up from.
Pachagazine: When did you start doing music?
Saint Zoolu: I started back in 2015 but official recording was in 2017, music has been in my lifeline since I was a toddler.
Pachagazine: Do you do music as full-time or a part time activity?
Saint Zoolu: I’m a music producer too by the Tag Zoolu Ninjah.
I do music full time but I’m also a business man, I have a few businesses at least to boost my financial situation.
Pachagazine: Which genre do you do?
Saint Zoolu: I do Hip Hop Trap
Pachagazine: Between being a performing artist and a Producer, which one have you major mostly in.
Saint Zoolu: I can say both.
That’s my day to day work, they both bring food on the table in one way or the other. So I can’t say I have a specific one.
Pachagazine: Why did you go with Hip Hop?
Saint Zoolu: Because it flows in me and I have a unique style of my own which nobody in Kenya does that.
Pachagazine: Where do you get your inspiration?
Saint Zoolu: I got inspired by my favorite artist Nasty C and other artists before Nasty C. The likes of Drake, Young Thug, Migos etc. But I decided to create my own style far from them.
Pachagazine: Who can you consider as an icon here in Kenya.
Saint Zoolu: I’m an icon myself. I always believe in myself.
Pachagazine: Take us through your projects, the ones you’ve done and may be the upcoming ones too.
Saint Zoolu: I have done many projects but here are a few.

Pachagazine: Are you under any label?
Saint Zoolu: No, I’m not under a label right now.
I’m independent.
Pachagazine: If you were not doing music, what would you be doing?
Saint Zoolu: I’d be an actor instead.
Pachagazine: Take us through the challenges you face while doing music.
Saint Zoolu: There are a lot of challenges, first there’s this issue of money that’s a common challenge.
Second their are people with negative opinions about what I do, making them talk things which are negative.
Online bullies are also a big challenge they troll someone so bad of which if you ain’t strong for sure you’ll run into Depression.
Pachagazine: What can you say about the internet, playing a part in your career.How has it been of help?
Saint Zoolu: It has helped me a lot especially in pushing and distributing my music.
Social media platforms have played a part too, cause of that my name music has reached some outside countries like South Africa, Angola, Nigeria and USA.
Pachagazine: What would you change in our music industry if given an opportunity.
Saint Zoolu: I’d help up the upcoming artists like me because all upcoming arts needs support and lead them on the right path of music. So yeah, I would focus on young talent.
Pachagazine: What do you like most in what you do and what do you hate.
Saint Zoolu: I like the fact that people are supporting my music in different ways.
I can’t explain and I hate Fake people in general.
Pachagazine: What advice would you give to those who look up to you, and the uprising artist.
Saint Zoolu: Keep on pushing I was there on that “level” where they are right now.
Be focused and positive vibes only.
But the most important thing, God First the rest will follow.
