Pachagazine: Tell us about Swit Potato.
Swit Potato: Swit Potato is a Ghanaian dynamic Afro beat and highlife recording and performing artist. Also founder and CEO of music lable Small Small Movement Talent.
Swit Potato is a motivational song composer, rapper and singer.
Swit Potato: I came up with my brand name from way back in primary school where my parent have to stop me from crying after they have to give me my favourite carbohydrate food as in sweet potatoes. My mates was like I always bring it to school. So they decided to tease me with it and that really Vanished my real name afterwards. When I discovered my career in music the brand name was already made by my own friends and families.

Pachagazine: What first got you into music?
Swit Potato: My biggest motivation which firstly drug me into music was the good story telling habits I obtained. I always got close to my childhood friends just to create story contents, sometimes even try to sing along with most stories with clapping rhythms.
Pachagazine: What else do you do apart from music music?
Swit Potato: Aside music I direct videos and photographs (DOP) Am also an entrepreneur and electrician by profession.
Pachagazine: How would you describe the music that you typically create?
Swit Potato: My genre of music is Afrobeats and Ghanaian “High Life”.
Pachagazine: Are you signed under any musical label or you work alone?
Swit Potato: Yes am currently signed under a label in Ghana (Erackom Entertainment record label)
Pachagazine: Who would you most like to collaborate with?
Swit Potato: Am aiming to work so hard by my self with confidence so that I will produce good contents to attract most local (Ghana) and international craft to attend to any collaboration I call upon.
Pachagazine: What would you be doing right now, if it wasn’t for your music career?
Swit Potato: I totally believe that music which I sees it to be huge business has become the biggest part of me, but if without music I would have stick to the other craft I obtained as my source of income.
Pachagazine: Where have you performed? What is your favourite and least favourite venues? Do you have any upcoming shows?
Swit Potato: I have no favourite with any venue I intend to perform my context. what I really enjoy is performing to my fans and people who are within that venue their favourite songs.
I have performed both minor and major events. I have my annual event show dubbed SWITOFEST2021 which is next on the line every year.
Pachagazine: What is your favourite song to perform?
Swit Potato: Every song I perform is my favourite. Since my fans really dance and vibe with it because the songs are meant for the fanbase.
Pachagazine: If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?
Swit Potato: The industry as a whole is much bigger than an Artiste. My idea of changing some thing within the industry will rather go within my Hardworks and performances to meet the trend of Genre in which the fans are in love with. I will rather change from being one style artist and be much versatile.
Pachagazine:What do you enjoy most about being a musician? What do you hate most?
Swit Potato: When I see my self as a remodel to unknown personalities up there and I really appreciate it.
I feel bad when I am not able to support all my fans who believe in my craft and have also supported me from day one.
Pachagazine: How would you advice someone who aspires to follow your footsteps?
Swit Potato: I will like to share few words of encouragement and empower any one who seems to follow and believe in me that nothing comes by easy but it needs time, perseverance,Hard-work and smart work.

Swit Potato: Am working hard on my new singles release and also my Album this year.
