Name: JIBRIN HOSEA

STAGE NAME : MAFI DA HYPEMAN

Pachagazine: Tell us about Mafi da Hypeman

Mafi da Hypeman: Mafi Da Hypeman originated from my tribal name mafin and people around prefer to call it mafi , so I agreed with it ,and it happened I love making hypes and shout outs. I’m from Taraba state Nigeria, but currently based in Jos ,Nigeria. I’m a Blogger at vibecity.com.ng ,Hypeman and a promoter.

Pachagazine: What inspired your venture in to the entertainment industry?

Mafi da Hypeman: I’m a lover of all kinds of music and anything Entertainment, I support Good vybes And also want to make the Entertainment happen with me along.

Pachagazine: How long have you been in the entertainment industry?

Mafi da Hypeman: 6 years now

Pachagazine: Who do you look upto in the industry?

Mafi da Hypeman: Linda ikeji she’s one of the top bloggers here in Nigeria and she has made it really big through Blogging.

Pachagazine: Do you work alone or you have a team?

Mafi da Hypeman: I’m working alone for now But I’m looking forward to build up a team if there is much financial support.

Pachagazine:  what are some of the challenges you faced getting into the industry?

Mafi da Hypeman: Some people feel because I’m young and doing such things ,they feel they can get at me doing free jobs for them and if I don’t agree to that they begin to troll me  saying all sort of things.

Pachagazine: what’s your worst memory at work?… what happened?

Mafi da Hypeman: When we agreed with an artist for me to promote his album, as I uploaded all the songs on my Blog and sent the link to the artist ,he was suppose to pay in but he didn’t pay in I waited for as long as 5 months. I never saw any alert , he later blocked me and that was it.

Pachagazine: what are some of your achievements or big accomplishments?

Mafi da Hypeman: working with some Nigerian Northern celebrities, to promote their songs on my blog

Names are EXDEE , BOC, BILLI MARS AND ICE PRINCE, also with the Nigerian Grammy nominated producer –Mr Kleb Beats that produced A song in the African giant album by Burna Boy song titled – omo.

Pachagazine: If given a chance to change the entertainment industry in Nigeria, what would you change?

Mafi da Hypeman: Basically from where I’m Jos , we don’t have a strong ground for entertainment and if I get massive support to build up a label and host artist I’ll take Jos round the world.

Pachagazine: what should your fans expect from you in the near future?

Mafi da Hypeman: They should just expect the unexpected. That’s what I got to say.

Pachagazine: What would you tell someone who looks forward to follow your footsteps?

Mafi da Hypeman: He should just be consistent and should have a habit of making research because learning never ends.
