Sylvia Saru:Ssaru Wa Manyaru
Silvia saru (born on 19th May 2002), popularly known as Ssaru Wa Manyaru, (kenya’s Nicki Minaj) she is a Singer, Song writer, Recording and Performing artist based in Nairobi Kenya.
She was born and raised in Kayole on a religious family aspiring to be a journalist but chose not to follow her dreams and ventured into music.
Ethically she is a Taita, and come from Mbololo, in Taita Taveta County. She went to school at Bura Girls High School were she completed in 2018.
Her debut came when her raw freestyles went viral. Her first music video ‘Nyama’ was released on November 2019.
she is was the first female artist in Kenya to venture into Gengetone type of Music and she actually received a lot of positive vibes from the Gengetone fans.
Ssaru has displayed the ability to constantly release good music that fits the taste of Kenyans. With her talent and hard work, not even the sky is her limit.
Ssaru has gone on to release songs with some of the biggest names in the industry including Khaligraph, Mejja , Bahat and Benzema.
