Zzero Sufuri is a gengetone musician and a sensational local hit maker.
His real name is Jeremiah Chege. He was born in Nairobi, Dagoretti south, Riruta constituency in a family of 3 siblings.
He joined Riruta satellite primary school and later joined several (about eight) before completing at the fourth form.
After high school, he got into arts. According to him, it was the only thing that seemed mattered to him and his best art was music. Zzero admits that he still loved written arts and wrote stories which he converted to music.
Despite his father being a preacher and owning his own church, his father appreciates his exponential talent and respects his craft which has made him appealing to millions countrywide. He started music while still at church with a group known as BOG (Boys of God) and later joined an art group at Dagoretti where youth meet to showcase their talents and he protruded in doing music.
Before fame, Zzero narrates that he used to record ciphers with his buddies from Dagoretti. They could rap and sing but it was all for fun.
Zzeros’ popularity broke out in the year 2019 after releasing the hit song zimenishika which turned out to be a club banger. Since the hit song zimenishika Zzero has been riding high on the Kenyan music charts with trips and shows locally and overseas. He also shared the stage with big arts such as Alpha Blondy during the Koroga festival.
