Andrew Kibe, self proclaimed as “Kifee” is a media figure from Kenya who was born on July 1st, is a self-described “boychild” advocate, talk show host, and purported former “pastor.”
Kibe comes from the largest ethnic group in Kenya, the Kikuyu, who mainly live in the Central Province. He doesn’t feel embarrassed to use colloquial language, even in his mainstream vlogs shot in the US, unlike the majority of media figures.
Kibe worked for a number of mainstream media outlets before quitting or, reportedly, being dismissed due to his behavior at work and elsewhere.
He has since changed his image to become a life coach who instructs Kenyans on a range of topics, including relationships, education and careers, politics, and religion.
Kibe also promotes the boy child by encouraging males to embrace their manhood.
He attended school at the prominent Nairobi Milimani School is located in the Kenyas’s capital Along with Governor Mutula Kilonzo Jr.
Kibe takes pride in the fact that he didn’t go to college since, in his opinion, doing so makes graduates destitute, illiterate, and zombie-like.
The contentious vlogger got his start in the media at NRG radio, where he co-hosted the morning talk show NRG Breakfast with veteran radio broadcaster Kamene Goro.
He gained widespread recognition thanks to his staunchly anti-feminist views and popularity with the NRG’s primarily male audience.
Later, Kenya’s top entertainment radio station, KISS FM, grabbed the pair, and they enjoyed enormous success there.
Kibe claims he resigned from his position, but less than a year later he was fired for allegedly breaking work ethics and causing trouble outside of the workplace.
Similar to this, NRG media, Kibe’s previous employer, disputed the pair’s decision to join a competing radio station after investing a sizable sum in publicity materials.
Kibe and Goro were sued in labor relations court by NRG radio on the grounds that they had violated the non-compete agreement by joining a competing station right after departing.
Kibe also made an attempt to enter politics in 2013 by running for the Langata Constituency Member of Parliament but came up short.
Despite earning a hefty income at KISS FM, Kibe fell into poverty shortly after quitting.
The vlogger claims that his termination from KISS FM caused him great suffering, causing him to lose his home and car.
From his revenues on social media, his net worth is believed to be $10 million ($100,000).
Kibe used to be an involved churchgoer, which Kenyans have come to refer to as “being a pastor.” This impression has been reinforced by images of Jesus preaching and praying with his hands up.
Kibe claims he couldn’t lie sufficiently to pass for a preacher, so he choose to live by reality instead.
The former believer claims that after learning that the majority of pastors are frauds, he likewise stopped going to church.
