Pachagazine: Tell us about STINGER TESATESA

Stinger: So stinger is an upcoming artist both recording and performing artist ,also am a good song writer and an upcoming music producer. I am 19 years old and I live in kuwinda slum located in Karen. I do all genre of music either Gospel,rap,genge and I believe that am best in what I do hoping to deliver and give my best in this music industry.

Pachagazine: What got you into music?

Stinger: I got into music because I had passion for music and I knew I was best at it. I started writing my own music in 2016 and started singing in school functions for my classmates and they really liked me till today and I decided that this is what I’ll do as my career and am still pushing it hard.

Pachagazine: Who do you look upto in the music industry?

Stinger: Mejja that’s in Kenya, internationally am always inspired by Harry Mack I believe his the world best freestyle rapper and I look up to him a lot. He his my role model

Pachagazine: What else do you do apart from music?

Stinger: Am a student learning media production at DonBosco. My life basically is surrounded by music.

Pachagazine: How would you describe the music that you typically create?

Stinger: Entertainment,I just fell like every person loves being entertained so when an creating my music I always make sure I my lyrics have crazy punchlines and stuff and that what makes people like me because I think outside the box when it comes to lyrics sometimes  people are like “bro how did you just makeup that line” and that’s what I do with my music. Entertain lyrically.

Pachagazine: Are you signed under any musical label or you work alone?

Stinger: I work alone am not signed under any label.

Pachagazine: How many releases do you have so far?

Stinger: Approximately 16 including collabo in different music YouTube accounts.

Pachagazine: What are some of the challenges you are facing in your music career ?

Stinger: The main challenge is marketing of my music that’s the most challenging thing right now. Connections getting shows and funding quality videos too cause we record our own music, we shoot and edit our own videos we don’t get help from anyone.

I have my friends we do all those stuffs and we are hoping for the best “shout out to Victortherapper, Josh, kennar“.

Pachagazine: If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?

Stinger: I think ways of supporting upcoming artists cause it’s a tough journey reaching to the top and some artist give up before they archive what they wanted in the industry. so I think putting up recording studios with a bit of lower recording prices.

Pachagazine: What’s your favorite release?

Stinger: I did a single called “NA UBAYA” that’s one of my favourite because of how I delivered every verse it was produced by Jmosez @modest music both audio and video.

Stinger: Crazy hit songs and baddest collabos we the best upcoming artist
