President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to travel to Singapore where he will speak at the Singapore Summit that will be held on Friday and Saturday at the Shangri-La Hotel.
In a statement on Tuesday by Statehouse Spokesperson Kanze Dena, Uhuru will be attending the Summit at the invitation of Prime Minister Lee Hsein Loong of Singapore.
“The President, who will be attending the Summit at the invitation of Prime Minister Lee Hsein Loong of Singapore,” reads the statement.
Uhuru will speak about Kenya’s growth trajectory and opportunities for growth in East Africa.
The forum brings together governments, private sector and thought leaders from around the world to discuss global trends in business, finance and geopolitics.
It also discusses the impact of governments on regional and global growth, prosperity and stability.
