Kenyan songstress and actress Sanaipei Tande has been caught in a social media uproar as some Kenyans accused her of sharing ‘semi-nude’ photos.
On Tuesday, May 2, Tande shared three images on her social media pages, depicting her in a short-patterned dress that exposed a small part of her thighs, which sparked heated online debates.
The photos had a caption that read “Vile inafaa!! Goodmorning,” and a smiley emoji, attracting a lot of attention and criticism.
Nonetheless, some individuals came to her defense, including singer Suzanna Owiyo, who supported Tande’s outfit, saying that ladies should be allowed to express themselves freely, regardless of their age.
Sanaipei Tande is a well-known Kenyan performer recognized for her singing, songwriting, and acting skills. She first gained recognition as a member of the music group Sema in 2004 before pursuing a solo career in 2008.
