Boomplay Music is a media streaming and download service developed by Transsnet Music Limited. The service was first launched in Nigeria in 2015 by TECNO Mobile, Transsion Holdings.
Boomplay is popular on Android mobile phone users but the app is now also available for Android smart tv users.
How to install and login on boomplay for TV
First download and install the boomplay app on your tv using Google play on your TV.
After installing open your app on the TV on on the top right conner click on the profile icon. The app will show a QR code to scan in order to sign in.
An ordinary QR code scanner app won’t open the link on the QR code and so you wouldn’t be able to login.
To be able to login, you need to have the boomplay app on your phone which is already login to your account.
Now open your boomplay app on your phone.
Click on the profile (account) icon on the bottom left corner.
Then click on the scan icon [-] on the top right corner and scan the QR code on your tv screen. If it show you you QR code on your phone screen, click again scan on the top right of your phone to scan external QR codes
That’s it you can now stream music on boomplay using your android TV.
